Wreath and Poinsettia Time!!

2011 Delivery Date will be between Nov 30th and Dec 2nd.

Ordering Has Ended For This Year. Thanks for all of your hard work. It was our most successful year by far!! The kids did great!!

This student-driven fundraiser is the single biggest opportunity for the students to contribute to the programs they love and that set our school apart from others.
We know how much your students love the things that OSC/PTO funds (downhill and cross-country skiing, swimming, artist/author visits, music programs, expeditions, classroom supplements, field trips, and much much more), and we want to make sure that they have a way to participate in making those programs a success. Even in the current economic climate, our students raised $14,000 with this program last year. Please help them support their school and all of the programs they love by helping out with this sale.

We know you have other options for your holiday greenery purchases, but we appreciate that you choose to purchase through this sale so that those purchases fund all of the amazing programs for our students. Not to mention that selling gorgeous holiday greenery that makes the entire town sparkle with holiday spirit sure beats selling smelly pencils and candy bars!! Emoticon with big smile

Though the pricing has remained largely unchanged, there are a few changes this year.
*Based on feedback from local businesses and families, we are allowing the students to sell to businesses. (We'll have parent volunteers following up with businesses to make sure that no one was missed.)
*We've also expanded our Direct Ship options to make it easy to send wreaths as Christmas gifts or for out of town family members who want to participate.
*We've added a large 42" wreath that looks beautiful on businesses or over garages.
*We've added a Grand Prize Drawing for all of the students who participate in the sale. As before, the top three selling families will win gift certificates, but this year, every family who turns in at least one order will be added to the drawing and for every 10 items they sell, they'll get an additional entry. The prize? A spectacular movie package filled with movies and candy along with 12 movie passes and 12 scoops of ice cream generously donated by the new cinema and the Hungry Moose!!

If you have any questions, please contact Jennifer O'Connor at j.e.oconnor@hotmail.com or 570-0765.

What is Pie Auction? It's the school's biggest fundraiser of the year and has been a key social event in the Big Sky community for 31 years.

*Local residents, bakers, and businesses have generously donated Pies and Prizes for both a Live and Silent Auction.

*Raffle tickets will be sold and the raffle drawing will be held.

*Art Projects from each class will be auctioned and some classes will be selling individual art works from students. Admission is free, so even if you don't want to participate in the auctions, please stop in and check out the amazing art projects that your student has been working on! They all did a great job!!

*Everyone will be having lots of MAD fun with this year's MAD HATTER theme! Come wearing a Mad Hat or dressed up in Alice in Wonderland costumes!

Bakers Needed!!!

Like to Bake?

The Ophir School Council/PTO needs SAVORY PIES to sell by the slice or by the piece at this year’s Pie Auction.

What is a savory pie? Think Pot Pies, Empanadas, Quiches, Spinach Pie, Shepherd’s Pie or Turnovers, etc. Go ahead and get creative!!

If you can’t attend Pie Auction, this would be a great way to still help the school raise money! If you are attending, it’s a great way to be a bigger part of the event!!

Pies can be dropped off at Buck’s on the day of the event (March 12th). For more information and to confirm your contribution, please contact one of the following:
