What You Need To Know About Pie Auction!!

The 31st Annual Pie Auction will be held on March 12, 2011 at 7pm at Buck's T4. On top of donating the venue and many prizes for the auction, Buck's is also donating 10% of the proceeds from the restaurant that night for folks seated between 5 and 6:30, so come early and eat well!!

What is Pie Auction? It's the school's biggest fundraiser of the year and has been a key social event in the Big Sky community for 31 years.

*Local residents, bakers, and businesses have generously donated Pies and Prizes for both a Live and Silent Auction.

*Raffle tickets will be sold and the raffle drawing will be held.

*Art Projects from each class will be auctioned and some classes will be selling individual art works from students. Admission is free, so even if you don't want to participate in the auctions, please stop in and check out the amazing art projects that your student has been working on! They all did a great job!!

*Everyone will be having lots of MAD fun with this year's MAD HATTER theme! Come wearing a Mad Hat or dressed up in Alice in Wonderland costumes!

Students can show their support and school spirit by wearing a hat to school on Mad Hat Friday (March 11th). You can bring your own Mad Hat, or purchase one from OSC on Friday morning before school starts. Hats will be $3-$10 and can be paid for by cash or check made out to OSC.

OSC/PTO still needs donations of Pies and Prizes. Please see Alice below for the types of Pies we need. For prize donations or with any questions, please contact Kimmi Warga at kimmilh66@aol.com or 1-864-423-9498

Proceeds from Mad Hat Friday and Pie Auction will be used to help fund: Downhill and Cross Country Skiing, Artist and Author Visits, Cultural and Library Enhancements, 4th Grade Expedition Yellowstone, 8th Grade Washington DC Trip, Art and Music Programs, Sports Programs, Field Trips, School Musicals, and Countless Classroom Supplements and Enhancements!! Thank you for supporting Ophir School and Lone Peak High!
